Tina Lucas-Glass m.d.

- Early Life and Education
- Dr. Tina Lucas-Glass was born and reared in Mound Bayou, Mississippi. From a young age, she demonstrated a passion for storytelling and a curiosity about the world around her. She pursued her undergraduate degree at Tougaloo College (1989), where she graduated Cum Laude. Inspired to further her studies, Tina earned her doctorate in medicine (M.D.) from Morehouse School of Medicine (1993).
- Career
- After earning her M.D. degree, Dr. Lucas-Glass began her ophthalmology residency at the esteemed Mayo Clinic. She further specialized in Cornea and External Disease at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital. Since 1999, she has led a successful solo ophthalmology practice, Alpha Eye Associates, in the greater Atlanta area.
- Literary Works
- In addition to her numerous medical publications, Dr. Lucas-Glass made her debut as a novelist in 2024 with Butter Pecan: Book One of the Hill Lake Series, a compelling narrative that weaves together themes of adventure and our past as a nation. She followed this work in the summer of 2025 by releasing Spiderwebs: Book Two of the Hill Lake Series, a riveting tale that further explores the depths of Hill Lake and its community.
- Future Projects
- Currently, Dr. Lucas-Glass is working on the third book in the Hill Lake Series, anticipated for release in 2026, which promises to delve into the complexities of Hill Lake.
Ryan Glass
Chief Marketing officer
Ryan is a native of Smyrna, Georgia, who graduated from Georgia State University (2021) and Northern Kentucky University's graduate program (2023). Having played D-1 college baseball at both institutions of higher learning, Ryan learned the skills of marketing himself and mediating his peers. As Chief Marketing Officer, Ryan is the first point of contact for LLGM, the operator of our social media, as well as the coordinator for events and signings.
